Gojira Pedals – Home

Lots of interesting art options already, along with the ability to do a custom upload image. The knobs are 3D printed which are limited availability. Mine is a TS808 clone with two clipping options and a bass boost. I’ve only plugged in for a minute but it sounds pretty good. Fast shipping. Under $200 USD shipped at the current exchange rate.

seeing the comment about cubism/surrealism made me think that, knowing virtually nothing about kincade or his paintings other than what i saw in the piece posted, it seems like what i don’t see in his work is any probing for new expression or taking chances or engagement/struggle or growth/change, which is absolutely what *i* like to see/hear/feel in “art.” his stuff seems fairly well done, but facile and very samey. ymmv.

A couple of years ago I watched a YouTube documentary thing on kitsch and Kinkade specifically. Guy was a creep, but I kind of would have guessed that from the combination of bland art and aggressive marketing. He was the Zamfir of painting.

Following up on the Gojira FX theme, they've got a reverb that looks and sounds interesting. This demos is for a previous control layout, but it does have bass examples. This is on my watch list.

I'm about half way through the album. It sounds great. The "room sounds" on the beginning of Karmic Blues made me pause and take my headphones off to check if someone was at my door or if my neighbor had a guest over

It has been 2 months, 2 weeks and 3 days (I have an app for that) since I put a deposit on a Miezo, and I was thinking about asking for an update at the end of the week, when today I got a build photo!

I like how well the neck and body woods match (raintree and ovangkol) and almost wish for aesthetic reasons that it was unlined fretless. I doubt when it arrives I'm going to be sorry that it has frets though

Koszalin is out for delivery, so I'm anticipating making a lot of weird shrieking noises tonight. Some of them will even be from the synth.

Make Noise is going to demo a new module Friday at Perfect Circuit. I don't even know what it is yet and I'm already glad that I should be able to make some space for one.

yep. in my hyped anticipation, i thought it was this friday as well.

my wish list is a stereo reverb with mimeophon-style features and size.

They click with certain users, and that group loves them. I’ve seen a few reviews from folks who think their ambition exceeds their ability. The 0 Coast is cool, but it wasn’t what I wanted to spend my time using (for a few reasons, some just personal preference). I like the ideas they have, but I also was turned off by the noise level on the delay module I tried (though duke loves the same module).

noise floor on morphagene and echophon can be a problem.

maths, dpo, sto, qpas are all very cool.

O coast, 0 cntrl and strega are also very cool.

i bonded with their aesthetic.

Strega, 0-Ctrl, and Mimeophon are some of my absolute favorite gear. QPAS was probably my absolute least favorite filter that I've tried though, and I'm not fond of the wavefolders they have in the DPO and 0-Coast. (I love some of what other people have done with the DPO, but that module and I just didn't see eye to eye.)

So to me a Make Noise announcement is definitely something to take notice of.
