That's a perfect way to describe it handofseven! KILLER...
Better attack, impressive sustain and wider frequency range. It's perfect for the Fender P Performer, it gives the tone that I am looking for.
I think it's TOTALLY WORTH the price. The satin finish feels just delicious. Plus the Status customer service is just A+. I am extremely happy with it.
I am about to test the Jazz Pickup connecting it to the SansAmp, I am very curious about this...

I had GAS for something or other, and a friend REALLY wanted it, so I sold it to him. Minor regrets. I'll have another, one day... Though now I have a Status bass.

Not bass related, but a friend turned me onto Steevio tonight and I went all the way down the rabbit hole. Modular Jazz?

Nifty utility pedal. Parallel blend. Stereo operation. Expression and remote. True bypass or tails.


Can’t find a price in USD, but it’s listed at £190.

Not sure I’ll swap my Boredbrain Transmutron for this, but it’s certainly a loop/blend worth considering.

Figured with all my gear talkin' I owed y'all one with the new board setup. I have things split and summed so I can have the bass, synth pedal, or freeze in any combination or all together. All sounds generated with bass (tuned piccolo), which you can hear in the end (and some acoustic bleed since the phone was near it). Starts with freeze, adds synth pedal, looping that, switching to bass over loop at the end. Courtesy of crap phone capture.
Will be figuring out something better for capture soon.

Slow attack envelope is the Meris Enzo. I'm using the shimmer setting for the length actually, with the high/ octave dialed out. I really like expansive/ infinite length... ordered a Meris Mercury 7 to also try for that, they had me at "inspired by Blade Runner"- it might replace the Empress (can't afford to keep both, unfortunately). There's a Source Audio Nemesis delay in there , as well.

Spent most of the day listening to Monolake/Robert
Really enjoying his stuff and he’s a heavy dude. Co-developer of Ableton. His ambient/cinematic stuff under his own name reminds of a lot of the textures @monsterthompson is getting.

Yes, they are both equally incredible, the Empress has far more functions than I need, personally.
I'm all about the endless tails, which is what the Mercury 7 was built for...

So I was sitting around and wishing I could MIDI control my Transmutron’s crossover fade between effects loops A and B. Then it dawned on me that it receives CV and I just figured out how to to MIDI to Mod Wheel CV Control of my 0 Coast and Nyx.
BOOM.
I’m now drawing Mod Wheel MIDI patterns in Ableton clips, sending those to the Nyx, and then sending the Mod out on the Nyx to the Transmutron.
It seems to be working
