In fairness, my Steinberger L-2 that I got brand new in 1982 has been 100% without issue...indestructable. (That's the bass you want to bring to a bar fight.) So not all carbon fiber/graphite/composite is destined to turn-to-poo.

My right hand technique require my for arm to rest on the side of the body, I can’t do the « floating arm » thing.

Also said that I’ve had issues before with graphite:
- Moses neck that warped. Absolute piece of garbage not even worth burning
- one of my acquaintances in University had a Status with a delaminated fret board
I’ll wait to hear from them and reflect on it.

For Jamuary 7 I finally fired up the Miezo. (Through Ruina, Bitwig Harmonic Split with different delays/reverbs on the splits, and then Raum and Valhalla Delay.) Also a few notes from Dawesome Kult, and a sequence on Synchrodyne through Hinder delay, sampled and looped.
I’m sure I’ll use the standing desk for other things, but I can already say that it’s 100% worth it for synth patching. I patched for quite some time tonight and my neck and back didn’t complain. It took a few minutes to get the cables routed and the height set, but once it was up and running I was very comfortable.
Since I've been hitting walls for months trying to do something different, did some work on my "Music Concrete" piano approach to the Lyra 8. I hope this doesnt get redundant, I always strive for fresh and progressive musical expressions.

Don't sell the Lyra. It seems like you really gel with it, and I suspect that it's a future classic instrument.
That's freaking awesome. Has a beyond cyberpunk feeling to it. Reminds me of some of the stuff Forma Tadre has done, without actually sounding like Forma Tadre. Puts similar imagery in my head.

@monsterthompson -- totally agree. I'm doing all my Jamuary work standing up or on a stool at a standing desk.
Yesterday was "off" as I spent about 8 hours remixing drums with my wife. The good news is we now have mixes that we're basically happy with. We will sit with them for a few days and then I'll fake master them and send to a few friends to test out on their systems. There's also one track we're on the fence about putting on the record. We like the music but the performance isn't the best.
For today, I went back down the Radigue rabbit hole, as I've been reading up on pole mixing to achieve the filter effect I was getting from the Filter 8's Band Boost + Notch output. My goal is to be able to fade between different harmonics, which means more filters. Beads is making some noise too. Not totally sure about that yet.

Update on the car situation. It was found. Stereo stolen. Some interior damage done. Not sure if it’s enough to get a payout as a total. Mixed blessing I guess.

While I love the Strega/0-Ctrl combo, tracks like that make me miss my Lyra.
