Ambient/Post-Rock/Textural bass playing thread

That concept of returning to an album reminded me of this one: A Huge And Silent Place by Ozma. When I'm in the mood for something electronic that can sort of function like "ambient" music but that also rewards deep, attentive listening, I almost always reach for this disc.

Will listen to it....added to my list of 456u9088488339 records to listen before I kick the bucket.

LOL! That's what I use Amazon for! I have a list of CDs saved on Amazon that I know I'll never get around to buying, much less listening to...but it makes me feel like I've taken a small step just by having a list in the first place.

That Ozma stuff is pretty good. Reminds me of this, an all electronic album from Forma Tadre, a mysterious band out of Germany that I stumbled across a few years ago. I didn't know it, but most of their music is kind of hard electro new wave kind of stuff; this album is unique. I love it so much and wish they would've done more like this.

And for pure ambience I love this. Even the weird creepy cover art is amazing, wish I knew where the photo was taken.

Bought that Forma Tadre record and listened to some others. The gothy electro thing ain’t totally my bag, but this record along with “The Music of Erich Zann” is really nice

Just started watching this, and I need to return to it later to watch the whole thing.

Impressive hardware/software MIDI controller. Looks like it could outperform my MIDI Twister in some ways, though probably more controller than I really need.

Drummer in my band uses the ottobit jr with just about everything, synth, drumpads, vocals. It is such a great little thing.
