Studiologic Sledge. That synth deserves a lot more love than it gets, my sonic partner gets some pretty amazing things out of it. If he didn't have one, I could see myself getting one.
I just read about Squarepusher’s new album, seems he went back to his old school gear instead of using the software the HE CREATED!!!! (Too much talent in one package)
He used old gear including an old Vic-20 computer!!!

I’m at 45 bpm and struggling. My nerve damage makes the continuous 1-fret movements really challenging. Gotta start somewhere

Keep playing dude! This is my warm up too but I always struggle Going fast with “out of order” runs like 2431....doing it across the fret board and my brain and fingers just can’t keep up. I know I need to woodshed this!
On a soft synth note... has any one used air “loom”? I like the idea of the morph pad... anything else like this that’s easy to use? Always wanted to recreate the intro sound to gojira - clone or inter arma - the cavern... that slow morph of synth tone that’s more than just a filter sweep or pitch shift...

I still can't find my book.
It must have runaway with dish and spoon for some creepy black magic pact and off themselves.
Might have to buy a new one.....
This is really weird I have all my old books even old charts from jazz combos......must have lent it to a student that never returned it....

As I previously mentioned, if it gets tedious or boring, I use to listen to any album I really liked and played along with that instead of a metronome. Also used rhythmic exercises at the same time but if you are just starting out proper fingerings and clean technique is more than enough.
btw, for ios peeps, do you folks know borderlands granular? he came out with a new update.

I think I may have that one, but remember that I just couldn’t really make sense of it at the time. Still occasionally use SAMPLR and Tardigrain
