which circle of the inferno is that?
I should read the “for dummie” version. I’m certain I missed 95% of the books “messages”.

Except the fact that it only runs on Mac. But yes it seems like quite the upgrade from the previous version.Just upgraded to Logic 10.5. Pretty nice upgrade if there are any Logic users here.
clearly they’re trying to catch up with some of Ableton’s electronic stuff. Clip launching, different built in sequencers and midi effects, two WAY better samplers. They still have a way to go but it’s a pretty great upgrade
Yeah, that woulda been nice, but that was a dollar or so too far for me. Enjoy!I had a bass deal fall through that was going to end up costing me some cash in insured shipping...so I spent the money elsewhere and finally caved and got a M O O D. I couldn't be more excited!
I won't need that second cup of coffee, this morning.Ok then
JMT synth - Mixer - Onbaord reverb from Mixer - LR to 4 track recorder - Ableton-----Your poor ears.

Sorry....or my pleasure.....I won't need that second cup of coffee, this morning.
what do you use now? I’ve used Logic for at least 10 years now, but the upgrade is pretty major, for me at least. The amount of plugins that are included are stellar as well. At $200, I don’t think any DAW touches it in that respect.
.ohhhh, we have a winner.

Yessir. You are absolutely correct..
wasn’t the picture a picture of the inferno a la dante?
Yessir. You are absolutely correct.
Good connoisseur eye. ( this is so stupid that it is a french word written "connaiseur" in english it makes zero sense the way its spelled....)
With warp markers??abelton live, which i’ve been using since 2009 or so.
my main concern in switching would be how malleable waveforms are because i like to go in and glitch them in detail “by hand.”
With warp markers??
Time and pitch???
WAYYY too lazy to learn another DAW, and huge lack of time.Im a big fan of the workflow on Ableton for creating, probably from all my use of it for live performances.
I’ve started my mix/master efforts in Logic and I like it better for that workflow. It seems to better manage CPU and plugins in certain circumstances. Ableton starts showing artifacts where Logic keeps going clean. Possibly how the utilize multiple cores on the chips.
When given a choice, always pick both![]()

I used Ableton a lot, until I got a hardware sampler. I'd still be using it quite a bit, if I weren't so intent on going DAWless for performance.WAYYY too lazy to learn another DAW, and huge lack of time.
But I’ve used Logic a lot and it is very cool.
Anyways, i,m still on the lookout for a multi FX app to use my synths with....BIAS looks promising....??
i just downloaded the logic upgrade, ableton should sue them, lolIm a big fan of the workflow on Ableton for creating, probably from all my use of it for live performances.
