Saw Keith Jarrett trio in Montréal with Peacock and Dejohnette.I was just typing to someone about 60's/70's Keith. What a genius. The American group is a favorite of mine. Dewey is always overlooked, but I feel is one of the great saxophonists of all time. Paul and Charlie are two of my favorite musicians ever. I love that band. In that time period...Old and New Dreams, Air, the first incarnation of Weather Report, Gary Burton's bands, Heijera, Now He Sings, Now he Sobs..electric Miles, Bright Size Life...soooo much music that I adore.
Awesome show (top 20 fo shizzle), but Keith is such an @$$.
I'm still in awe as to why no one ever kicked him in the nuts.
After the encore he told everyone in the crowd to eff off, yelling like a child having a tantrum then started rambling about his clothes and people not understanding his music.
Also his legendary mumblings ruin so many of his recordings for me. How about some industrial tape over his mouth????
Totally agree, so much good music so little time.
