Bloody ape on bass. :laugh:

It held promise @0.17, but then it gets progressively boring :bored:... a socked foot on guitar :yawn:... bare fingers on synths :sleep:.

Go back to the bass-player going ape-foot :woot:, SVP, and a chicken claw or beak for guitar :chicken:, some alien hands or tentacles on synth :snaphappy:...

I mentioned Pochard few pages ago, I got a chance to hang out with the guy and he showed me his prototype delay and stand alone lfo-pedal. He is also planning a dual lfo tremolo. Everything has CV and expression possibilities. I think he also has a reverb under way and possibly a texture type thing. He is also a bass player and a really nice guy.

Yes. I was wondering if it really made enough of a difference or not.

Description of the Bass Mod: Less rolloff of low frequencies, allowing more clarity at low gain. Great for bass, synths, drum machines, etc.

They only have the regular one in stock on their website.

I"m in no rush to get one so waiting is not a problem. I do think I want one of these though.

Fwiw I don't consider the "bass roll off" an issue at all. It can have huge lows at some settings
Imo massive low end isn't the point/goal of this pedal
Worst case scenario get an eq post geiger counter.

Without having a context on what you are trying to achieve, I can only tell you my opinion is on it.
Remember that this is just my opinion so please take it with a grain of salt.

Good concept with a bit of a chill vibe.
  • Intro felt too long. It felt like it was building towards.....something, but took too long to get to the main groove. The song needs to come back to the main groove more often.
  • Drum parts tend to have awkward timings that don't necessary go with the flow.
  • I'd like to hear the bass as a more prominent sound and running with the funky bass you already have in there.
  • Not a fan of the lyrics. I think it would be better as an instrumental.

Overall, I think it has great potential. Thumbs up from me. :thumbsup:

I had to begin the tune again after the above post, and I respectfully disagree. I dig what you're doing, just keep doing it. Great balance of everything, the Konnakol is a breath of fresh air, and the longer piece sounds like a journey to me...nothing too long about it if you have a certain thing that you're trying to convey.

No problem at all. Of course it's just my opinion on what I would like to hear. 1000 people could give 1000 opinions honestly.

If your music has a deliberate sound and feel you are looking to convey and you think you have achieved that, then you did everything right. It's your composition after all.

I applaud your creativity as well as your willingness to share it.
