Speaking of which, what do you recommend for VESA stands, and are they really stable enough for editing on the synth itself? I am thinking of getting one to expand the space.

I also made a synth decision: I'm going to order one of the Micromonsta 2 synths when the next batch appears (hopefully this month but who knows), and I put in a pre-order on the Super 6 desktop for when they arrive in Canada (theoretically end of this month but who knows). All other gear purchases until April in the synth area will be utilities.

Now back to noodling with what I have until more stuff arrives.

I can't remember which one I got, it was a while ago. You want to make sure it's got the right size bracket and that it's sturdy. I ended up buying one to mount a monitor on a desk, so that I can swing the Iridium out of the way when not using, or to bring it right up close in front of me if I need to.

I have my DAW monitor on a desk-mounted articulating arm from Peerless Mounts; pretty sure it's this model. Based on how robust it is and how stable it's been with all the constantly moving that monitor up/down/back/forward I do, I suspect it would deal with holding a synth module steady while editing just fine.

Recently? Nowhere: I'm still in self-imposed exile, been without any musical equipment whatsoever -- not even an instrument! -- since before Thanksgiving. It's killing me. I finally get back to my New York studio this weekend (presuming airline doesn't cancel the flight due to weather and/or Omicron) and then I have to frantically figure out how to get some gear and instruments back to this hideout in Arizona because we'll be returning here just a few weeks after. Crazy.

I think the last completed production I did was this piece, which I'm pretty sure I already shared in this thread many months ago:

I have one and really like it. Can get some peculiar textures.

Some folks who are undecided on the Kodamo EssenceFM synth cite a lack of creative patches. And a lot of the stock patches are pretty bog standard DX7 kinda stuff. This new patch bank should help some.
