Nice construction and layout. If I recall correctly, those were built in Doncaster.
I was recently looking for a schematic for an Elpico AC-55. Found some pics but no technical details. One of the long term builds on my list. Based on the tube content, I was thinking that it might be similar to a Mullard 10W design that I have. If anyone has an AC-55 schematic, please let me know.

Nice! I have been looking into a small tube guitar amp and Carr Amplifiers (top contender so far) builds like that.Got inside an especially nice one today.

My Aitken Audio custom is built similar tag string and bus style. Layout here was kind of determined by the recycled chassis though.
Been putting a pre together out of parts just to use them up. Not quite finished yet but here's some shots...

@Matt B...Nice job on the build. Where did you get those knobs? I used the same style of knobs in black on an amp project I posted in this thread a while back. Mine were salvaged from an ancient Peavey mixer, and I've never seen that type of knob anywhere else.
Nice layout, well thought out. Maybe you can use a cookie sheet as a shield for the bottom.
Love amps built in food containers. I've used tea and cookie tins.
I got a big box of all kinds of old knobs for about $5 a while ago and they were in there. Along with blue , red, yellow, green and white ones of the same style.

These look like nice class D modules! The power amp is soooo small. The power supply on the other hand....

They are a Davies/Daka Ware/Daven knockoff, most likely. Google "RCA console knob" or "Fester RCA knob." I have a bookmark somewhere for a US vendor, will PM you if I can turn it up. I think it may be Mammoth Electronics, but their website is wonky for me for image serving at the moment.

Quite surprised that a modern design would use DIPs and other through-hole components. I'm guessing that Dave may have stuck with what he knows best from the old Eden days.
