Ampeg Rocket Bass Combos

I am seriously considering getting the RB210 combo and a of 115lf cab for more bottom end and get the full 450 watts out the combo. But then again I am also considering the PF500 head with a DVD 410hlf cab. Can't decide. I'm not currently in a band right now but it could happen again and I'm sick of the GK set up I usually use. I am wanting Ampeg tone more and more lately again.

Go with 2 PF 2x10s or 2 PF 15s . The PF 800 is the best deal out of all the PF series . I run a PF 50 T and 2 PF 112s . It handles any gig or jam I do .

I am leaning more towards the PF head and cabs. The reviews of the rb210 combo. On you tube sound a bit thin in the low end even with high quality headphones listening to the review samples. What is your opinion of the PF410hlf cab? I know I definitely like the way the pf500 and 115he sounds like in video reviews. 2 me the pf115he sounds the most pleasing out of all of ampegs video reviews the 410hlf seemed to be lacking sum thing . but it could be just a creepy sound sample on that review

I’m trying to decide between a 110 and 112. Anyone got experience of real world volume difference? Could the 110 keep up with quieter drums for Motown type stuff?
I am using a 110, purchased for coffee house gigs, in rehearsals with my four piece in a garage. Lower volumes overall, drummer using Rocket Sticks, lead player sometime gets overly loud, but not all the time. Nobody using ear plugs.

I only have volume at 6, not using SGT. Have never been overwhelmed in the slightest.

I also have never cranked it to max, given the nearby neighbours, so can't speak about farting at extreme volumes.

My first gig with the RB-210 is tonight. We're letting the bass amp run with no front of house. The room is 230' x 25'. Let's see how it goes!

I got my RB-115 Saturday. First impressions are that it is well built, looks cool, is lightweight, and sounds great. Mids are especially sweet. No pops when turning on or off. No hum or hiss. I also got the cover, which is nicely made and a perfect fit. So far, nothing to dislike. I think it'll be great for the animal club gigs I've been playing. I'll use it Thursday at a Moose lodge.

Nice! The no pops things is kinda nuts. I’m not used to that, but it’s nice.

I was thinking about exchanging my 108 for the 115 this morning but ended up with a 112. VERY excited to have the added onboard controls & DI out!
