Looks late 70's or 80's other than the grill logo. Afraid there's not much to tell you past that. All the records of serial numbers and years from back then are lost to the ages, and there's no way to date them otherwise.

That looks to be a flat back cab and with a jack plate like that, it'd have to be a later one. Although the towel bar cabs had already been introduced, it has been established that there were still flat backs being made in '74.

Just as an FYI - I'm pretty sure your jack plate would have had a sticker/label that showed the serial number. That label is often missing from the jack plates of that era. The number that you are seeing is actually the part number of the jack plate.

Actually there is, and they're not stock. They're the OEM speakers for SVT 810e's in 1996. The 67 indicates Eminence, the two numbers after it are the year. Hope it wasn't sold to you as stock.
The good news, however, is they're darn good sounding speakers, and you totally dodged a bullet because the OEM speakers from 2000-06 were pretty crappy. If he'd waited 4 years to replace them, you'd be screwed. OK, so they're not THAT bad, but they're overly dark and not bright enough. Some people like them but not me. I can tame down high end...I can't bring it up if it's not there to bring up.

Actually I ended up getting this for free personally. My old band bought it for $200 from a guy here locally because it was cutting in and out (turned out to be a loose wire and 5 minute fix) and when we stopped doing stuff everyone told me to just keep it which I happily obliged. Hahah
Looking for some help dating an Ampeg SVT4PRO. The serial number is SVT4PROAP10270045. I know it's LOUD Technologies era, made in Korea, but the serial number falls between the old S.L.M. coding and the newer LOUD Technologies coding. I haven't been able to find much info about that particular serial sequencing.
Can anyone help shed some light on year and possible month of manufacture?

The problem with LOUD serials from 2008 onward is the year code moves around on the serials depending on the model. However, since the only possible letter in the number it could be is A, I'd have to guess that it was made in 2008. I don't know that there's a way to deduce what month from the serial.
Thanks JimmyM! Based on the information I was able to find, I thought the AP was the country code (first 2 letters in the LOUD scheme), which would have meant the 3rd and 4th letters would have been the year and month of manufacture, respectfully. Without letters after the "AP" I was at a loss...
Well it probably was made in that time frame or close to it. I think Korea got shut down in 2011 or 12.
