Corndogs, as far as I know, are a southern delicacy. I have travled outside the south and discovered many have no idea what a corndog is. it's basically a hotdog covered in cornmeal and fried.
Although in the south putting anything besides mustard on a corndog is taboo, I prefer them with ketchup as well.

Here in California corndogs are very popular. They usually have honey in the mix that's what I was asking. I have never heard of honey as a condiment and wondered if that was a regional peculiarity :)

Catsup is for fried potatoes and hamburgers :)

My brother-in-law used to eat hot dogs all the time. Sometimes he would just eat them cold right out of the refrigerator. My family used to tease him all the time about it. So one year I bought him the following hot dog cooker and bun warmer as a joke from Christmas. Well he did not think it was a joke. Then one day my sister called me with devastating news. It seems the cooker finally gave out after years and years of continual use. I forgot I even gave that to him and was surprised my present wasn't donated right after Christmas. It was one of his favorite presents that year.

Forget Trump and all that rhetoric... THIS !!! kind of ingenuity is what makes America great, a hot dog maker/ bun warmer combo is genius.

As long as my country is deeply divided among political, economic, racial and sexual orientation, I thought I would further help to divide us by asking the all important question.......

Do you put ketchup on your hot dog?

Only in the absence of just about any other condiment. I much prefer a horseradish mustard and onions on mine. Actually, as a general rule the only time I use ketchup when a tomato based dressing is required and it is available, I use cocktail or barbecue sauce.
