I am getting ready to jump in and build a bunch of projects. I have built kits but never had to source the parts. I bought a few boards off MAE and pulled together all the parts I need for the handful of projects I want to build. What's the best way to buy the parts in the current climate? Individually hunt for them or should I get a few of them in large amounts or as parts of resister kits? From what I've read, I want more than just onesie twosies on a part and it's best to try to order it all in one shot.
Ultimately I'd like to get all these parts and try to build them on a breadboard (I have never done anything w a breadboard before) and also try to experiment a bit to learn what happens when you tweak things in the design. Any advice on how to best go about getting parts so I can build these and also be able to explore the circuits on a breadboard? Mouser, tayda, stompboxparts are all still good spots in the current climate? Any others you'd put on your short list to browse?
