Apocalypse 05-21-11, here we go again! - All "rapture" posts here please

I will confess I'm actually genuinely worried about if something really is going to happen tomorrow. Not going to quote Bible stuff here but there IS a passge in the Bible about not knowing the hour and day that the end of the world will happen.

Honestly, Im not worried about whether it happens or not. If it doesnt we go on living our lives, and if it does, well its the end and theres no avoiding it. I think it'd be pretty awesome to be a part of the last civilization onn Earth before it all goes kaput. Its gotta happen sometime...

That same passage is the one that proves it to me that he didn't actually find the date in the Bible. I don't think the rapture is happening tomorrow

I'm feeling the same way for the most part.

I'm sure plenty of things will happen tomorrow, but not the rapture. I'm positive of that, and I'll post here on Sunday to remind you.

Well if I see the end of the Rush concert I'm seeing tomorrow, I'll know the Rapture isn't happening.

You know what gets me about this? I'll bet the guy will not lose a single follower. He's 100% sure the EOW will happen Saturday. It won't. On Sunday, he will have a new revelation, and everyone who believed him before will still believe him.

Remember there was a major religion (I'm not saying which one) that predicted the end of the world in 1914. Millions of their devotees sold all their stuff and went around publicly preaching repentance.

Then, when 1915 arrived, they "modified" their prediction by claiming they only meant 1917 would mark "the beginning of The End Times." They claim we're still in "The End Times" almost 100 years later.

They ALMOST got it right. The great flu epidemic started one year later

If at 9 pm my time tomorrow I hear the cacophony of blaring trumpets I am going to literally $&!@ myself.
With that in mind what do you all think is the perfect set list for the Rapture ?
Opening song...Digging Me Down by Ozzy

If at 9am in the morning I hear the cacophony of blaring trumpets, I'm going to roll over & cover my ears with a pillow.

I'll be willing to bet that you could buy these real cheap come Monday morning!

:D

I think I would seriously drive that thing just to see the reaction. As a Christian, I believe I should always be prepared. Even IF HE FOR SOME REASON KNEW THIS WAS THE EXACT TIME, he still wouldn't be obeying God. God asks that we should continue on with our lives and do his work until "that trumpet blows". He didn't ask us to panic and start passing out flyers. I'm trying to remember the chapter it was in, but I remember a verse distinctly going as such. He says that He shall come as a thief in the night (when we least expect it). He shall not let us any man know the date, for if a master knew what time a thief would arrive at his home, he would be waiting for him, and not allow him to enter.
