I realize that this may be too deep of a well for such and simple question, but this photo of me on last night's gig got posted somewhere today and I am shocked at my janky posture. I don't know what I was doing here exactly, I used the bow a few times last night and was pretty happy with the result, but I might have just been warming up the rosin before the 1st set when this picture was taken, but in any event:
I'm not unhappy with where the bow is between the fingerboard and the bridge, but I know I'm not supposed to be all bent over like that. Is there an easy way to say what I should be doing instead or are we way beyond a simple correction?
