I think the wording of the question would attract more left handed participants.... that's why the results are so even. People think it's a question about being left handed by the title so righties are less likely to click on it

"How many people out there play a righty bass lefty with the strings upside down", would be a HUGE NO-to-YES ratio, and if it was even, I would know people are just clicking it for the hell of it... ( at least I know there would be ONE vote for yes )...

I'm lefty in the sense that i write with my left hand, but I play righty, and I do any other activity right handed- throwing, batting, bowling, ect...

I did a poll on this a few years back - from memory we hit over 20% lefty on this forum. That's twice the average of the general population, lending a little credence to the idea that left handed people tend to be more artistic.

I'm a lefty but i play right handed. When i was just starting out my dad told me to play right handed because it would be easier finding basses that weren't left handed. He was a left-handed banjo player and always struggled finding good instruments.

It is fun to pick up a lefty when they know I play right and play it.

I tried a righthanded guitar and bass guitar, but only could get it work upside down...
