Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Two)

Hello, after deciding to learn the guitar about 12 months ago (at the tender age of 28), i now find mysellf drifting more towards the bass and I have inherited an Aria Pro II but don't know a lot about it - I'm hoping someone can identify which model it is. All I know is it's active and korean made - the serial no starts with S99 so i gather it may be a 1999 model:

from the little research I have done I gather I don't possess anything particularly valuable or desireable, which is fine as it serves a purpose for me just starting out (it's in great condition cosmetically and plays well) i just want to know a bit more about it as i've not come across another like it.

King of Spain, that's definitely an Integra (IGB series) but I don't know which one. There have been a lot of models over the years but I think '99 looks about right.
If you search around ariaguitars.com and go to the Japanese site, you might be able to find a model that matches it in the "discontinued" models area.

Funny, because it looks just like [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] but with the older 80s style of logo. That model is (I believe) recent stock.

Here is a thread on a prospective IGB-50 buyer for a model with the older logo style. Again, identical except for the electronics.

The satin chrome hardware is a fairly recent addition to the IGB from what I have seen in photos of the range since '86. "Duncan Designed" pickups put the date of this instrument to 1995 or later so 1999 seems good.

Model number? No idea.

Thanks very much for the help - that was just the direction I needed! I''m now pretty certain it's an IGB-65 looking at the specs, looking forward to learning on it although I need to restring it for sure, it looks like the originals are still on there!

Calling all Aria owners! Does anybody own an SB-R150? I have made a small run of BB Noisekiller preamps for the 10-pin SBs and could do with gutshots of the cavity in the dual pickup version to check the details of the 11-pin version.

Anybody that wants a new BB ("black box"?) with modern low-noise low-current components, PM me. I'll post photos once I get ABS enclosures in stock. Not that a black box is that interesting of course.

I obviously do not have an R150 but I will get you pics of my 11-pin preamp soon.
