Right there with ya, Pilgrim. Except I'm 40. Going on 25. I'm an 'old man' everyday for 8 to 10 hours at work. In real life, I'm young. Most of my friends are the same. State of mind; reality is what we make it.

Well, I'm 58 and while I see your first point, I can't agree with the second point.

A lot of the music we hear on the radio requires a lot of talent. It might be a differrent type of talent but those artists know what their doing.

We can come up with all the cute sayings and phrases we want, but at some point, we all get old. Hell, we're all older than someone, and we're the "old man" in certain groups. The trick to growing old is to do so gracefully. Quite honestly, there's nothing sadder than an older man or woman, clinging desperately to their youth. That, to me, makes them seem older than they really are.

I was bouncing in a bar on my 40th. When all the balloons, the cake, and the gifts started coming in, the owner told me I was through for the night, and told the bartender to "take care of me" ...
That one hurt. before the end of the night, the only guy in the bar who was bigger than me ( a very good friend), and I were hugging each other on the dance floor rubbing cake in each other's faces...
