I know the man is in the middle of a move, but anyone have inklings on a time frame for the 1505?
Thanks! I do remember catching that somewhere in the thread now that I see it again. The 5" driver will not be produced until April.

In case anyone here is in the market for a TC112 v1 (4 ohms), I have one that I've decided to flip. Selling it off is something I thought I'd never do. The only reason I'm doing so now is that I unexpectedly came across a golden opportunity to pick up a Mike Arnopol TC115 compact composite - a rare bird indeed, now that Mike no longer builds them - and I couldn't pass it up.
My TC112 v1 has now become redundant. It's in excellent, like new condition:

Want me to pick it up for ya? Yes, seriously.Argh.... a TC112 is next on my list, though I think I'd prefer an 8 ohm. Still.... my new job doesn't start until March though, so it will be awhile. If this still around then I'll PM you. I suspect it will be gone in short order, however.

The move to Texas lurches in and out of this reality (it was supposed to happen two weeks ago)... our buyer's buyer has issues that are being resolved but thus far have kept that first domino from falling. It should all happen in the next couple of weeks though.
Today I spoke with Jerry McNutt of Eminence and he's trying to get a few more sample 5's made and shipped to people like me, but it's not as simple as it sounds, and they probably still won't be available in any sort of quantity until some time in April. I have some on order (already paid for) so some of that first production run will be coming to me.
Sometime in April is also probably when I'll be getting my first batch of new custom 15's, which needless say I'm quite jazzed about. I think Jerry is too, he went through several iterations and then I chose from between the two front-runners.
The new custom 15" woofer is slightly higher in efficiency than either the 3015 (non-LF) or the Faital 15PR400, not even counting the bumpage Jerry engineered into the upper midrange. That pushes the box size/low end extension tradeoff in the direction of needing a bit bigger box, but the upside is, it'll go pretty darn loud for a 115.
The original TC112 used a custom 4-ohm version of the 3012LF, and the more recent 8-ohm TC112 uses the stock woofer. What is the main difference in the variant 3012LF used in the TC-112 and the stock 3012LF?
