I took my H1203 for a spin this weekend.... whoooooo-eeeeee!!!!
The cab easily filled a small club with full sounding bass. When the rest of the band joined in I pushed both switches up on the back of the cab and the sound was warm, full, with an airy crispness to the high end even though I ran the amp totally flat. It is so excellent that the cab sounded so good with no tonal adjustment at all. I am AMAZED at how much bottom end that cab puts out. Mind you, I filled a good sized room with a GK MB200 running at about 150 watts.
Like I said earlier, I have a cheaper Ibanez SR100EX lefty that I was planning on selling, but wow that cheap bass sounds like a $1,000 MM with that cab. There is so much low end, wheras before I had to crank the bass on the amp to get any bottom out of it at all. There is a very uniform strong midrange the bass produces through this cab. My friends were pleased and amazed and happy for me for my new cab. Of course I told them how to get to Duke's website!
@DukeLeJeune whatever magic you're using on those cabs, keep it up, I'm totally in love with my H1203! I was going to get second one, but now I'm torn to trying out your H1855. I think that one will sound even more full. And yet, I think 2 x H1203's and a GKMB500 Fusion will probably be enough to carry me through even outdoor shows.
I wish more of life's decisions had as happy outcomes as this one... Now my hardest decision is the TC1855 or H1203.... I'm so tempted to go for the 18....
