AudioKinesis Cabs Part VI...

Naw the Bosch Plate Pummeller still works fine. What the hey??... Has some weird plumbing....looks like a drain clean out to me.. confused...

Put the soap in the top slots. Open drain plugs. Rinse and repeat. Profit!

Ok here’s the scoop, for some unknown reason, this guy Duke asked me to be a Beta Tester!!! Probably cause I just yak about gear too much. Haha This is the squeaky fresh, straight off the the skunkworks black site, Beta/ Changeling 115 Tall.
Actually I feel blessed and was completely floored and shocked just to be considered worthy enough. Thank you for your vote of confidence, Duke. I only hope that I can be of some small assistance in evaluating this lovely beast!
If IIRC I was talking about wishing I had a one cab solution that would cover 80-90% of my gigs, light enough to move with 3 compressed vertebrae that like to act up anywhere from weekly to daily. Etc. typical old guy crap. It was a little bigger than I was expecting and Duke said it got a little heavier than he expected with extra bracing added. Obviously I have yet to crank it yet but will be making noise soon. Since I do a weekly jam at the Montavilla Station 9-1:30 every Sunday in Portland Or. (80th & Stark) So anyone who would like a shot at this can come in and play it with their own bass! If you want to your own amp we can do that too. Back with more deets later.

Very cool. I have a Changeling 15332 non tall, and it packs a supreme punch. It cuts through a band mix with aplomb.

Two totally different balls of wax, tonally.
Loudness/volume quotient is probably quite similar.
Both are 4 Ohm cabs.
Both have similar power handling. AFAIK anyway.
The Two10 doesn’t have the upper mid/ top end extension as the C1533, but seems to have more upper bass/low mids.
The C1533 doesn’t seem to own the thick/old school lower mids of the Two10. It has it, just happens to be much more articulate. There’s more stuff going on, which makes definition difficult for me to put into words.
The C1533 cuts like a knife in a band mix. This ain’t no old school 15.
The Two10 is more pillowy at lower volume
I prefer the Two10 with my PF50T. Awesome combo.
I prefer the C1533 with my Monique700 or my Eden WT800c.
They’re so different that can only say that their strengths lie in different frequency spectrums/sonic signatures.
Both cabs play with my different amps in different ways.

Does the tall (larger) profile give a bit fuller bass response and if so is it still focused and punchy with a B string? Curious how this might compare with a 212 Changeling.
