Bass in the Post Zombie Apocalyptic World

Yeah, I've thought about this....
I wouldn't hoard basses, I'd find every Lemmy signature Marshall stack ever made and daisy chain them together, (all dimed of course) and then just RAGE!
I joke that if you don't have to reach UP to plug your bass in, you ain't a real bass player.
I volunteer to be the zombie magnet for the gun hoarders.... yeah!

So, do zombies play covers or originals?
Do they mix their cabs?
Most importantly: do they use wall hangers and if so, do they center on a stud?
:hiding:

Covers - Since Zombies would not put up with Pay to Play..

They mix their cabs because it all sounds the same to them

No wall hangers since they involve a screw and maybe a hammer or screwdriver - scary objects

So, what is the best bass for zombie slaying??

I could see me with a reinforced P bass, 8 bolt baseball bat of a neck, bayonet attachment on the headstock, and a handy battle axe head built into the lower body(retractable, of course, since us men wouldn't want to risk castrating ourselves while playing gigs).

And used G strings(not those kind ;) ) could be strung together and anchored between moving vehicles to provide a mass zombie decapitation device.

Roundwounds are a must for zombie-bashing.

Something by the Cranberries perhaps?;)
Ah yeah. I've played that and the Pretty Reckless song by the same title back to back. You could probably find a few more and do a medley of 5-6 songs all with the same title.

Also, a couple I haven't covered: "Zombie Dance Trance" by the Cramps (which in spite of the title sounds nothing like Armin van Buuren) and "Walking With A Zombie" by Army Of Lovers.

This is the bass for the zombie apocalypse. You don't need an amp to play while running for your life, when you do find an amp it plugs right in. It's also got some pretty good dimensions to use as a head smashing mace.

As for strings... It has to be Elixirs, nothing else would do. You gotta have that coating to keep the zombie goo from getting into the windings on your strings and killing your tone. Sorry for the reality check, but in an emergency, you have to make some compromises!

Well, this could be the next great zombie flick.

Picture a roving band struggling to entertain the disheartened remnants of human civilization, while figuring out creative ways to dispatch the undead with their gear as they fight their way towards the last untainted recording studio.

Definitely B rate, but hey, even though the world as we know it has ended, one must try to keep amused.:)
