Bass Whammy Petition!

I think the people at Digitech will consider re-issuing the bass whammy once we get to 1000 signatures. And we might go that far.

If any boutique companies were offering "authentic replicas" of the original whammy or bass whammy, I would consider one of those. But for now, the current whammy pedal is the only one that anyone can get, really.

ummm, no.

they need to sell 100,000 + units to even CONSIDER remaking it. Do you understand how much it costs to tool up, create sales channels, marketing etc etc for a company like digitech? they CERTAINLY won't reissue it to sell 100 units. or 10,00 units.

Yeah, the reality of mass manufacturing is in the tens of thousands at a bare minimum, with hundreds of thousands being more realistic. One thousand is barely a fart on a windy day.

OTOH since the function described is primarily just software, perhaps 1,000 names is enough for them to write a bit of extra code into their existing current model. That's the angle I would take if trying to convince them.
