When I get into a crunchy groove I tend to stomp my feet and I'm sort of like a wave moving up and down when I bob side to side, and last but not least when I'm really into it I close my eyes and I just go with it of course that's only when I know the line well enough, so those are some of my stereotypes.
Hating a drummer and being a bass player? Seems like you picked the wrong instrument.
Sure, drummers are annoying but you're basically only playing with one other person in the band...the drummer.
I guess my bassist stereotype is that I'm tall and lanky and make my "jazz face" during sweet grooves.
But, I write most of the music/lyrics and am kinda the leader of the band. In fact, I HATE it when bass players except the fact that they're in the shadows. Who said? Get up there and play. Guitar players are a dime a dozen. A good bass player is a special thing. People notice a good bass player.

tubby - actually, I'm the smallest guy in the band.
holds things together in both songs and arguements - of course.
helpful? - yessir.
owns most of the bands gear? - sadly yes.

Well not really, i earned the nick name "Ronnie" for my more than just the cheesy mustache. i tend to wear white t-shirts or wifebeaters, have long dark hair, and am painfully itallian im always watching for groupies..(getting is another thing.. lol)
mediator? ive set up all our gigs
advice giver? idk if bassplayers are usually insightful but recently i told our kid drummer if he wanted this chick he should tease her by looking her in the eye and then going to town on a chaco-taco.

That is just too funny. The sad thing is, when I was an undergrad, that would have been a hysterical thing to do in the dining hall (and it would have worked quite well).
It got me past the sterile bassplayer stereotypes in highschool, and im sure its gonna be a hit up to the commnity college

No hat.
No goatee... I've yet to have full facial hair. At this rate, I might have by the age of 25-26.
I'm thin but in shape, so I guess I'm not really burly.
I'm not tall.
My fingers are small and bent inwards.
I have little gear.

I wish I had more (better) gear.
Bass face and head bob. And Jazz face when going up the neck. I also find myself hugging the bass somewhat.
Heavy on theory.
Tone-sensitive.
Keeps the drummer on the beat (!)
I listen to everything except very hardcore styles. And modern rap.
I have curly hair which grows into an afro if I wait long enough.
I dress the "contemporary urban" way. But this might be specific to where I live. I've really had people look at me and ask me if I was a bass player.

That pretty much does it for me. Skinny, short hair, no hat, no facial hair, not a lot of musical theory knowledge, not at all a gear snob, I don't usually hear the bassline first (sometimes its hard for me to tell if there even is one), I don't dress bassistlike, and I like my flip flops.
