Bassists that look really mean

One thing you need to take into account with metal... most metal guys are dorks... cool dorks, but dorks none the less. King Diamond doesn't really go home night, hang his coat of evil up next to his wall of heads and sip the blood of virgins while watch "Touched (in a naughty place) by an Angel." He cleans off his make up, chills out, has a beer.

OH no dude..........you just killed it for me, the whole image............thanks.

jaco had something of that, not the same thing, but i've heard some stories that he wrecked a drum set with his bass, and tried to wreck some basses he loaned from some fans. correct me if this is wrong

I wouldn't be surprised, Mingus and Jaco were both bipolar.

I think Timmy C. is growing up a bit now, he's actually shown quite a bit of his setup in more recent bass player articles. He's very competitive though.

Gotta laugh at some of those guys,scary....???? ***? They look like little kittie cats.

I'm with Jimmy. I know its all about image. However the toughest, situationally meanest mothers I knew were immaculate deceptions. They wore a funny green "hat" at formations.

Steele looks like he could be a small issue. And being a boxer-in-training, I'd worry about anyone who is an accomplished fighter. And , of course, anyone is is all torqued on some pharamcuetical blend. But alas, line most of those guys up and they'd be split like dry cordwood ,no problemo.

Point, lets take Steele vs. my Irishman, Mike (no last names for opsec). Mike stands all of 5'6"tall. Guy's bald. Book worm looking type.

The short Irishman would have the big guy crying like a baby or completely silent in less than 15 seconds. ( although a slight gurgle or involuntary reflex might occur) :)

Hey guys, I know its about visual effect here. But, Ican't impress upon you enough NEVER to judge a book by its cover. I've seen it in action. It's almost like watching a ****ing Tom and Jerry cartoon!

Me,naw I'm a pacifist geek, so please dont take this as some tough guy talking.

I just had to explain why I smirk at these tough guys.

That poor bastich from Manson or whatever looks like he's half dead now. One shot and you'd be in jail for murder!

Whoops!

:hmm:

Peace. Out.

I've never seen Joe Satriani playing bass onstage before. I know he's recorded some tracks on his albums, but never live... :smug:

hahaha

Jerry is a shaddow of his former self, but that happens with age, back in the day the misfits were a bit mental, and built like brick **** houses!
