I would think you could choose a ae112 (or pair of if it has that option) preset and then just change the ohms to 2.6 and you'd be in the ballpark.Looks like it will only optimally work with two matching cabs, that's disappointing. I know I could use it with my two AE cabs (Or do I ) but not with anything else, bummer. So this makes me wonder if it will work with two different size cabs as in my two AE's, a 112 and 212...anyone know the answer to that?
I saw your post over in the Mesa thread writing this amp off but the Mesa won't do 2 eq settings for differnt cabs.
One advantage I see over the Mesa is that at 2.6 ohms the Mesa will drop from 800 to probably 500-600 where the Berg will deliver 700watts @ 4ohms or 800 @ 2.6 or 2 ohms.
I run a HD112 & HD212 a lot of the time so this (albeit slight) power advantage at 2.6 ohms is a big deal too me. Ideally I'd like to get 1000 watts @ 2.6 but 800 would probably make me happy.
