Bergantino B/Amp at NAMM

I know the B|amp is a different beast. I've played one briefly a couple of times and loved it. I dont think the B|amp would add anything to the cab due to the cab already having dsp....if I understand this correctly. I'm think of going with either an hg410 or hd212. Which of these do you guys think would get me closest to the ip322?

IME/IMHO the HD212 with the B|Amp will put you in the same general territory as the IP322. Not sure about the HDN212, but it's probably close, too. The HG410 is an amazing cab, but the lows are very different from the IP322.

Nice! As one of the testers, that was the exact amp (Walkabout) I was targeting because of its harmonically rich (and stellar) bass tone. IMO as well, it's easily achieved with this latest update and with none of the negatives that the WA will start to display when you really start to push it hard.

Joe, try these and see what you think:

Aggressive fuzz: drive 2 volume 15, bright switch engaged at 2k with 8 dB boost, EQ flat but boost the high mids and/or treble for more bite.

Vintage fuzz (ala Spirit in the Sky): drive 8 volume 8, bass boost 3 dB at 65 hz, low mid boost 3 db @ 250 hz, high mid and treble rolled off a tad. Bright off.

Also, try a bright boost at around 8 db at 7 kHz for a nice little sizzle on the fuzz without too much unwanted artifacts. Experiment with the LPF as well at around 3 to 3.5 kHz to tame to icepicky highs.

Let me know what you think. BTW, these settings are pretty much my P bass settings but should work fine for an active bass as well as there's some slack with fuzz because it's such a saturated signal.

The HG's are sealed, the HD's are ported, and that's a big part of it. And yes, the HD212 and is deeper than the HG410. And the IP310 is bigger and deeper down low than most other cabs on the planet.
