I had a early grey-striped fafner years ago & it sounded incredible. Kept having the power switches replaced (which was common in the early ones)This beaten up bad boy. With 2 4x10 EBS cabs. Extremely powerful.
Ps : the previous band's bassist left his tequila shot on top of it. I wouldn't do that.

I agree but to fix the power problem I use mine as a preamp into a Stewart world 2.1 into two 8 ohm 410xlt cabs.Well, the best *sounding* amp I ever owned/used was an Eden WT-400, however I could never get it to put out enough volume and reluctantly sold TWO of them (bought a 2nd one after the 1st sale, then remembered why I sold it). So the runner up was a MarkBass LittleMark III. However, that's not my current amp, which is a LM Tube800. It's not quite as good, but I wanted two inputs with individual levels.
I wish there were a Heritage 6x10....
