Best color ever?

I'm pretty partial to Ice Tea Burst.

Used to lust for a Les Paul Gold Top: not any of approximations of that finish found on some other guitars/basses, but the specific way that Gibson does it. Then I had one for awhile and now I'm over them. Still think they're cool, but I'd rather see some wood grain: not crazy about opaque finishes.

Transparent blonde is my favorite on a bass.

However, I default to black or natural if blonde is not an available color.

My favorite color is colbalt blue such as found in old glassware/bottles but I don't like it on an instrument.

It has the American special neck on it but it is an FSR. Instead of the gloss finish it has a satin Nitro finish. I don't think mine has the greasebucket tone circuit.

Does yours have a gloss finish ?
Nope it’s just matte or no finish. I’ve never seen anyone in my town have a special P or seen anyone else who plays one. I got little hands so I appreciate the tapered neck and the grease bucket circuit is a cool touch. That bass always gets a compliment on its color though!

Red!

However I have a classic sunburst rosewood tort j bass. Which is great. A bass should be dark.
Transparent colors where you see the wood grain are great.
I used to have a transparent red Aria.
The candy apple Fender is great too but has to have a rosewood fingerboard and a black pickguard.
