Dude, love the unlined fretless. That's one of the MIJ jobs from late 80s/early 90s right? I wanted the same one but snapped up a white one as they don't come up for sale too often.
Now THAT'S funny, because I was hoping to find a white one to match my Vintage White MIJ P-Bass from the '80s! And yes, that fretless is a MIJ. I think it's a '94. The P-Bass is one of the E-Series ('84 - '87). I really like both of them...

You've got a collection to envy between those thumbs and your incoming Dingwall!
Thanks but Unfortunately unless Im not feeling the dingwall I’ll likely be selling my last thumb soon. My history shows I love them. The NT6 in my picture is my third thumb bass. They are by far my favorite Warwicks. But I’m just your average middle class guy that plays for fun on the weekends. Not against owning multiple basses if they are like cheaper mim fenders or ESPs but yeah Id feel guilty owning several really nice basses and then not having money to take my kids to Disney this year for example. Would be nice to own all the super nice basses I’ve had throughout the years though. If I won the lottery that would be something I’d absolutely do.

Wow. Sorry to hear about the fire. Glad YOU are okay.

I'm very impressed with these Honeyburst FSR's. OutSTANDing neck on these babies. I did put a Seymour Duncan SPB-1 pickup in mine. They're my favorite P-Bass pickup replacement. And to my eyes, the gold anodized guard looks like it was made for this bass. I also have the original white (or parchment?) and a brown tort. I've seen a lot of guys put a black one on. They're all okay, but the gold anodized is by far my favorite (on THIS bass). Hope you find one!

Yeah, the neck felt good to me. I've always loved the feel of the old stripped-off-finish bodies, and this has that vibe too with the satin feel.
I really like the parchment pickguard, but the anodized seems to really work well on this bass.
I'm actually not a fan of the 3TSB/Anodized/Maple look - classic as it may be - but the Honeyburst really sets it off. The SPB-1 is the vintage sound, right?
