I was gonna go there, during the series, but dharmashawn lives in Connecticut and given his user name it might just be his nod to colors of spiritual significance. Who knows. Bass player gets great cabs built by a guru who BTW I believe, slap me down if I am wrong, is an avowed Eastern philosophy spiritual practitioner. Anyway the Orange looks great. Kesslari's red is great. I actually like blue, but red and blue can get you shot on a t-shirt in my world. I am a 60 plus guy who wears anything he wants, but has definitely gotten some evaluation looks from dudes at my gym or on the street, till they figure out I am an old pale dude. I would let the OP tell us why he loves Orange. I would love to hear. The 46 is amazing and with a 26 for larger venues you will cover the spectrum dharmashawn

Funny you should mention it. The orange is to come close to a Buddhist robe--he picked the color. I'm a practicing Buddhist for 40 years. But I like purple. I'm going to get a gallon of Duratex in a purple that I like!

If its purple, i may be able to negotiate a 2nd -109! Cha ching

We talkin grape, lavender, or periwinkle?

my wife is a commercial interior designer and we have all of the color decks here. I'm open to suggestions. Sherwyn Williams are the easiest colors to match but Benjamin Moore is cool, too. If anyone has a cool purple from those---I'm open to suggestions.

Had to mention---got a call from Bobby Vega yesterday. What a cool guy! between yesterday and today we must have talked two hours. He's on my level of gear-geekiness! And also one of the unsung geniuses of electric bass.

Bobby must have been in a talkative mood yesterday. He and I talked for a while yesterday, as well. Great guy!

I second purple! But it has to be a deep, Jimi Hendrix type purple - it's a tough color though, needs to be deep enough so it doesn't look foofy.

Mike, I dunno if you remember but the walls of my Sound Lab are purple.

The butt to the right belongs to Stephanie Seymour.
