To those ripping on kids playing: I hope it makes you feel so good to put down little kids from behind your keyboard. Has to feel so much better than actually getting out there and making the world a better place.
It's a rite of passage to play, and suck at it, for any musician on their musical journey. It doesn't just happen at the beginning, it can happen at many points along the way. Knowing that, it's a bit of a sad thing when anonymous internet pos(t)ers feel the need to insult others on their way through that journey.
