Also really like the 15 year old WhistlePig Rye. It’s a little pricey but is very smooth and flavorful.
@Dave Hill recently hooked me up with a single barrel Buffalo Trace that is also very good.
can get that all day long around here but, 50+ for a bottle that smallish bottle that says Jack on it ? I don't know about that.This was recommended to me recently and I like it. I like it much better than Gentleman Jack. Now if I could only find Blantons here in the Virginia ABC stores,

12 years old. It was had for just under $90Indeed. It's that time of year folks.
I'm actually glad the bourbon crazy is still hanging around and people are lining up around the block, entering raffles, and emptying their wallets for those boutique bourbons. It makes finding the real gems at realistic prices much easier.
