What a stunning instrument. You have good taste, my friend!

I had never seen or heard of black veneer being an option, but this looks so seriously good. It will definitely be requested on the next Carvin bass I order!

I have a question about what strings y'all are running and has anyone tried TI Flats. Also has anyone tried the Carvin Flats. Do they compare to the TI's.

I tried TI flats on a non-Bromberg and hated them due to their extreme low tension. Others will play nothing else, so go figger...

Carvin flats are very similar to GHS Precision Flats. More thud than snap (depending on what you're going for. Far higher tension than TI's.

On my B25P, I've had success with D'Addario Chromes and Sadowsky Flats. But the n Circle K Balanced .136's live on it pretty much full time.

Well, I drooled over pics of Bromberg basses in this forum the whole weekend and the obsession just could not be contained: just now pulled the trigger on a custom built Bromberg B25.

I just turned 41. I'm a father of two little guys, a husband, and a fan of all things bass (including Bass on the Broadband). This is my first custom purchase. Have played my ol' Fender P-Bass and a Schecter 5-string for years, but . . . you only live once, baby!!!

I like the look of natural woods so that's the way I went on the options. Will post pics when I receive. Yee-haw!!!!!

Has anyone tried TI Flats on a B2 yet. I will be ordering mine on the 1st of Nov and I play TI Flats on all my basses. I am going to order it the Carvin Flats but I have never tried them so I am not sure if I will keep them on there are go with what I normally play.
