Come on, don't be like that. This characterization is reductive and dismissive. You may not care for the current conversation, but if you read closely you will see that:
- it's taking place in a new context (S300 built-to-order; just about monthly releases; some context for upcoming products) so it's hardly an unwarranted retread
- everyone has been thoughtful and respectful; no one has stated Broughton Audio owes them
It's really uncalled for to write "nobody owes you anything"

Not cool. This thread is better than that.
I didn’t read that as dismissive. Nor personal, more a generalization of life in general?
Well, if anyone found that my post rubbed them the wrong way, then I guess it's good that I deleted the rest of the rabbit hole I was going down before settling on just that.
To be completely honest, the only thing I have less time for / interest in these days than reading these discussions is participating in them. So, I guess it was dismissive of the overall conversation, but yes it is also more of a generalization on life and not a personal attack against anyone in particular participating here.
In fact, It couldn't possibly have been personal, because No I haven't read any of it closely, as was perhaps rightly suggested might help to grasp the particular context this time around.
I just don't care about any of that anymore. And maybe it wasn't right to project that onto those who still do.
All that being said, my $0.02 is still the same as it has always been... Josh, as an independent bizness man, does not owe it to anybody to modify his practices to suit ANYONE other than himself, regardless of what the particular topic of the day might be, or how long and loudly we here might want to talk about it. And, Obviously he doesn't need to, because all these years later his stuff still sells out on Day 1 more often than not.
I just happen to think that there is more happiness to be found in accepting that and moving on than there is in dissecting it to death.
I think our collective homework should be to go make some noise with what we've got. Dust off a pedal from the shelf and find a new sound you didn't know you could make. Learn a song. Write some riffs. Stop thinking for a moment and just experience something. I'm guilty as charged myself.
