I've seen buckeye used to make decorative bowls and plates before. Very beautiful stuff.

I've seen large pieces of the burl carved into unique endtables.

ive just had some custom pots/knobs made (buckeye top's zebra wood bodys)which kick ass

i dont have any new pic's of the sei with them installed yet
but i'll try and grab some shots this weekend if my bro brings up his digi cam
