also i wonder if it will work ok with the ampeg micro 210 cab because that is probably the only cab that can be found here!!
Just out of conversation, what indications do we have that these new Bugera amps unreliable? You mean like the TC Electronics, Markbass, Ampegs catching fire? I've been playing Bugera bass amps for years and they've been nothing but ABSOLUTELY RELIABLE. It's just that people for some reason love to connect Bugera and Behringer, then quote from "somewhere on the interweb" stories about Behringer/Bugera reliability. I've been a TB member for years and I rarely see reliablity issues making the front page for either Bugera or Behringer. Yet, the rumors persist. I wish everyone would leave them alone. They make a bunch of excellent products.
And I'm so disgusted with this smokescreen about "watts." When paired with a pair of good bass cabs, Bugera amps are loud and have a great tone.

Haven't seen any "teething" issues reported as of yet. The veyron is a great amp. Definitely has balls and just the right amount of parallel compression in the signal.
Kind of sad at their success in a way. Behringer/Music Group has found a way to commidify high quality reliable music gear. Similar to cnc budget basses. Everything is cheap, consistent, and sounds great.

and other comments doubting the amp even before it came out lol so just fascinating internet talk you know haha
will this cab work OK with the bugera head, for small room rehearsals with bands if that matters?

Not on this amp in particular, on other Bugera stuff: yes. The first - pre Infinium - runs of the 1960 tended to catch fire, since their wiring was crap. Also on the BVV3000, the QC doesn't seem to be the best. A couple of people reported getting a new amp, which failed within the first couple of weeks. The same people got replacements and are happy now though.
On the price point imo it's something to be expected as it is the easiest way for a manufacturer to save money.
Oh yeah, I would def. buy Bugera stuff though. Don't have the money though at the moment. Need to pay off debts for my current rig first. ;-)
Of course that sort of thing has never happened with amps from other manufacturers even when they are thought to be a more respected brand, right? This is only friendly sarcasm from me now.....

Should the amp have more watts written on it or the cab? Maybe I should be reading a sticky thread or something.. If there is a definitive online guide please gimme a link.. Or feel free to educate me on it! OK I read the amp/ohm sticky here on tb
But yes my real question is if I can get this amp from the USA to India and buy the micro svt 210 cab here locally and find a good match there to have fun playing?

I think he meant "keep a LID on the volume" which means don't turn it up so loud to blow the speakers, keep your volume in check. The Veyron would be fine with that cab, but just like with any other cab you need to listen to make sure you are not distressing the cab. Use your ears and you'll be fine.Can't do 2 of those 210s

Not saying that it never happens to other brands, but as I also said QC (and design/engineering/...) is where it's the easiest to save money nowadays. I'm perfectly fine with that, one should be aware though. Regarding Ampeg SVT-210AV Micro Classic cabs: They are closed cabs (no ports), so you will hear if they are pushed hard. This actually sounds quite pleasent. You will also hear if they are pushed too hard. This won't sound pleasent anymore.
Closed cabs can handle quite a lot of power in my experience as they will start to compress at some point. If you then start pushing them harder they won't get much louder but at some point will start distorting unpleasently. If it sounds nice and looks ok (no extreme speaker movements, ...) everything should be fine. Keep in mind that a 2x10 cab has it's limits volume wise and don't push it too hard.
Also keep in mind these particular cabs don't go that low but you can compensate by turning up the bass knob slightly more than you are used to. (Had them at home some time ago and now use a Heritage SVT-810E.)

Yeah, all the products from the Music Group are so shoddy it's a wonder they work at all.
I read on the internet, social networks, and reviews, that those lines of bass amps not only caused fires but also burned down a few homes too. Caused several divorces. This never would have happened if they had bought "name brand" amps... ha ha
The cab am looking at with this amp .. The ampeg micro svt 210 cab is rated at 8ohms
At 8 ohms do I get half the power as compared to a 4ohm cab?
I mean do I want a 4ohm cab if I want to run a single cabinet and get all the power?

The back of the Veyron states 1000 watts at 8 ohms. The debate about exactly what hat means has been a topic of discussion in several thread on this board. Not sure if that means continuous, peak or RMS.....
