Bugera Veyron BV1001M gig review

These are good looking beasties. Hate to be that guy, but would be reluctant to buy one of these without an rms figure, not peak.
I hear you Man. That was a concern of mine as well before making the purchases. All that I can say is that whatever the power ratings are along those lines, it's more than enough for my needs! I'm primarily using two 8 ohm Ashdown cabs that are rated at 1000 watts rms. Each head easily pushes them and hard!

Got my Bugera Veyron M today! First impression on the amp is the very tight build quality. I'm amazed on how well this amp is built and feels very solid.

Lol waiting on a cab before i can pump this amp but for now I'll hear what it sounds like through my headphone
thats what I did. I played it through headphones and did not hear it through a cab till I took it to a gig.
Don't know if this is news, apologies if it isn't. Emailed Bugera asking what the rms of the veyron was, and they replied! They said it's 500w at 4 ohms.
Wow, in another thread I suggested a 4:1 reduction in Behringer/Bugera wattage claims as a way to compare to other known amps. Turns out I was spot on (2000/4 = 500).
Not doubting you and honestly, at this point I'm not concerned. The amp performs. That's all that matters. I would suggest you try one if you get a chance to do so. I think you'll probably understand what I meant by my previous statement then...

It would depend on who "they" are and the definition of "always stated".
The Bugera website?
No. The product information document?
No. Online retail ad copy?
No. However, it was pointed out to me that in 2014 a bugera rep said the word peak in this video for gear4music:
Forgive me but I still don't see the exaggeration. Did they say 2000 watts rms? Everything that you posted simply states 2000 watts. Regardless, I have already stated that whatever it's actual power is, I'm no longer concerned. It performs and quite well at that. I guess that I need to use a statement that you should be familiar with from our last extended dialog. I'm good with my Veyron M! My current dilemma is trying to decide whether or not to keep the Veyron T that I also have in house at the moment. Each of them are great amps....

Still, where is the exaggeration? I AM good and glad you felt the need to wish me that. And no, the power ratings don't really concern me any longer as the M more than outperforms what my expectations for it were. Great amp that doesn't cost a lot of coin. Sort of like the Kustom KXB500 in that respect. Not for you? Fine by me. Do your thing...

I never said it's exaggerated. I have said (in another thread) that I think they got their amp to produce 2000 watts for a few nanoseconds and use that figure without qualifying it. I've also said I suspected it was probably fell in the typical 500 watt micro category. It does.
