Carvin SB5000 / SB4000 Roll Call!

Hey thanks Jarrett. It's a Focus 2 into an original Goliath 4x10. Kinda ghetto fabulous but I don't worry about what happens to it. I got the cab for $150.
I guess the only thing anybody might be interested in is that my bass has the 3-band EQ. I bump the mids a little, at a frequency a little higher than the stock Q detent.

I've debated whether to post this link, as it may come off as shameless self-promotion, but it's just a cover band.
HOWEVER, it does show a lot of my SB5000, and I'm told with decent speakers the sound is pretty good. This was on local tv this past Sunday morning.

Great Stuff! the SB5000 sounds awesome! Tell your guitar player I dig those Samick Blues Saraceno TV-20's he is playing too...very kewl guitars, I have 2 of them myself.

the reversed headstock doesn't look quite right to me.. could be that the logo is backwards....
There is a pic on page 18 on this thread of one I ordered with a reverse icon headstock. I like both the standard SB headstock and the icon but prefer the shape of the icon a little more.
OK, so did any of you bastiges buy the trans red SB5000 fretless I was lusting over? Show yourself! 
I've got a SB5000 being built. It's scheduled to ship the last week of May. Looking forward to getting my hands on this one. Based upon what I've heard in vid clips, it will be a keeper - and I like that retro thing going on with the design. I don't ever see it replacing my Roscoe, but it's certainly gonna get a lot of "play time"!
Question, if you order the MM pickup in the bridge, can you request a coil split switch as well? I don't see where it would be placed unless they could outfit the bass with a 2nd push-pull switch. Anyone?
I'm thinking of doing that to my HB if it's has the extra wires expose. I'll just drill a hole in the control plate. They should have put one in because there not much different in tone between the two pickups.

While I'd also prefer a mini switch to split the coils, is it worth taking a drill to your new bass? Wouldn't an additional push-pull switch be a little easier?
Ahhh, you must be reading the Carvin forums, eh? Some have commented the J99s are too hot to handle in active mode.
