Except this is the information age. Unlike the past, there is virtually unlimited access to correct pronunciation, spelling and grammar. That doesn't mean that there will be no mistakes, but IMO it does mean that there should be fewer mistakes.You say "these days" as if there was once some golden era of correctness when nobody ever got anything wrong. It's as okay as it ever was to get things wrong.

I particularly loathe the use of "of" instead of "have"

Redundancy (as well as unnecessary repetition) gets me every time.

I hear many people pronounce the word veteran as vetran or vetren. Here is the proper pronunciation.
