That's a cool looking cab. The only thing is it's a 4 ohm cab. It would either be a standalone cab or need an amp that goes to 2 ohms if a second cab is needed.Hartke 12b $178 new

I find that using a 4-ohm cab on smaller gigs gives me a little more headroom, which I like to have.I will never own another 4 ohm cab. The only reason to make it 4 is that it's a big cab with a lot of speakers in it. So big that you'd only ever need one of em. I'll never lug a big cab like that around again.
My Carvin amp, however, does operate with a 2 ohm load. I'd get three 8 ohm 12 cabs, maybe. 1 for practice, 2 for gigs, 3 for bigger gigs.
Congratulations! I guarantee you will love it-- heck, you might want to buy a second one down the road!Dont hate me, I just got this unbelievable deal on a new Eden D112XST8. It should be here Friday. Bwahahaha I cant wait...View attachment 3490733
Congrats on the excellent deal! Amazon occasionally goes crazy and does that. And with Prime shipping? Awesome deal! I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of your Eden! Thanks!
I wanted to get 2 for that price, but it wasnt doable today. The price jumped to $609 after I bought it. Down the road there may be another deal like this, and I want to be ready.
Assuming you don't go first.I have a substantial inheritance coming my way one of these days. It'll be new car, new condo, new bass, and a pair of new Fearless 12/6 cabs.
Assuming you don't go first.
Peavey Headliner 1x12. MSRP $249So, weight? 25 to 40. Watts? 300-400, maybe. Price? I'm thinking $250 to $400. Brand? Peavey, Hartke, Ashdown?
One 12 cab has to be... not useless. Two should cover most gigs. I'd even entertain three 8 ohm 112 cabs for an outdoor stage.
Dunno but I have gigged my Peavey many times alone and it has done the job. Cab is solid. Nice lows. Admittedly, not a lot of highs as the tweeter is pretty subtle. I hate clank so it's fine for my needs. 2 of these will bring the boom. Real world review. Quite honestly, the USA built cabs will cost more but are they worth that much more? All I know is the Peavey is a well built cab.So what are the real differences between a $250 112 cab and an $800 112 cab? Efficiency of the driver? Better engineering/cab design? Materials? That's a pretty big delta for things that, on the face of it, pretty gosh darned similar.
