Cheapest bass you just LOVE

FleaBass Street Bass. $150 Shipped NEW from Ebay.

That's really cute - no, that's not the right word.

I really think it's cute though, so I'll stick with that.

This isn't a bass that I'd normally look at for more than a disquieting second or two - but this is just --- er: 'cute' enough to actually like!

Is that how they arrive? Same-o decals and logos and stuff?

Cute! :D

Love my Schecter Stiletto Custom 6. Got it for about 600. 680 after everything

Am I the only one annoyed with how Schecter Packages their Basses? My Diamond P Custom came shipped in the same kind of box as yours. No padding wrapped around it, only the Styrofoam padding behind it. Wrenches were loose and flailing around. Luckily no damages and it plays well so I shouldn't be complaining. I was more upset with the UPS Woman dragging it through the shop when it arrived.

I love my Squier Jag SS. Sounds great, but have outgrown its adjustment level. Mostly a bass maturity thing for me and what I have finally become accustomed to in what I need out of a bass. Not just the old method of what sounds and feels good. But I would take it anywhere in front of anybody and play it. Its a solid instrument.

My first bass, a squire p, not sure what type, got it straight from store in 2006. Lasted me until now. Dont dare to bring my american deluxe in this school :P if your wondering what the blue thing is . Its a blue foam i use to protect my fingers when slapping ( i tend to hit my joints on my hand on the pick guard ) it also helps me double thump. And i painted the headstock red. Dosnt match the body haha. Love it like its family!

Change your strings, please.

Got a new SX Ursa 1 early this month from Rondo - the rosewood / black / white $99.99 + shipping model. I was worried the neck would have the "vintage tint", which I hate, but it's got the matte finish, and I like that just fine.

Added a $20 gig bag on sale from GC, a set of half rounds, a set of Schaller strap locks, and it's good for just about anything. I'll probably re-wire it before long but no hurry there because it sounds just fine for what I need (roots rock country acoustic). It's a true "trunk bass, " so called because it lives in the trunk of my car until further notice. Best of all, it paid for itself with the first three gigs.

I have a CL 'win' that's a P with J pickups. I got it for $100 (including Fender G&G Hardshell case). I spent a lot of time and 'some' money fixing it up. Nice. However, it's a one-in-a-million find.

Other than that, the Squier CV 60s P. Stunning.
