My neighborhood drummer is going to town. I think he's played Wipeout at least 3 times tonight. And when I just went out to walk the dog, it sounded like he might be holding a sax player hostage. I wonder if there's a whole band thing going on over there?

I've been walking the dog over there on that street for three weeks trying to figure out which house he's in. Haven't got that pinpointed yet. And I'm kind of afraid to knock on the door and ask to check him out. With my luck he'll be like....8 or 9.

With my luck he's a prodigy. And it would all be on record. And I'd get booted out for playing root notes.
surf rock ... it was one of the major music categories growing up and I still miss it. "Wipe Out" was way overdone ... but "Pipeline" or "Walk Don't Run" ... I'd love to play that stuff again.

We play Walk Don't Run. I was practicing it just last week. We did it at our last show after the guitarist sprang it on us a week or two before. I never really learned the "chorus" walking bass part so I'm working on it.
I've been away for a few days with the band, our Halloween show was 10/29 @ 7 cedars Casino for about 2000 folks, we had a great time!

lmao...it doesn't stick felt together very well, either. I was trying to duct tape my kid's costume together, and duct tape seriously let me down. Lucky for me, I had a stapler handy.
Tape of any kind doesn't work on felt. Felt requires staples. Or pins. Or needle and thread. Or a bedazzler. Definitely a bedazzler.

To be honest, today's duct tape sucks. We don't even bother making it since it is such junk. We make some other products that work much better but they do cost a bit more. Convincing people that a few extra bucks for a product that last 6 months versus 6 hours is still a challenge.
