Interesting that I always felt my Sadowsky weighed slightly more than my LG (as have most that have picked them both up).

+1...I would have NEVER guessed that your Sadowsky was actually lighter than your LG. I've always thought that the LG was crazy light. Very interesting.

It's been awhile, but this is why I had to sell my AC's. I had to do some major upgrading.

That's a really nice setup! Was that desk custom fitted for the keyboard? The slot for it is perfect. And what is that on the right side of the desk? Looks like an MPC, but the knob layout is a bit different. Is it a pad controller?

Thanks man! Yep, it was custom design to fit keyboard and mixer. I used a local Nashville builder. If you're in the market hit me up, I'll pass his info. He has great prices to be a custom builder. The mpc clone is Native Instruments Maschine. It runs USB and reads Kontakt, wav and rex files. Also, has own software and can be used as a plug-in with DAW.

This is VERY interesting. I recently also weighed my older Sadowsky solid body NYC JJ5, and it was also 8.6 pounds, and my LG is also right at 9 pounds. Of course, I'm sure my LG sounds like crap compared to Ken's tho, since his has that awesome nitro on it and mine's just got that cruddy poly finish. ;)

Very cool! I'm not into nearly as much production/recording as I used to be, so I wouldn't need a desk nearly as slick as yours. The most I'll do now is make backing tracks for live performances and run them from my laptop. But yeah your setup is the type of thing I would go after if I was still doing it - that's an Akai S5000 at the bottom of the rack, right?

Did I miss where my buddy Jerome (alphaman) picked up a LM5. I thought he had picked up a CAOJ RA5 at some point, but I didn't here about the other.

Really? I would hope he would've shared that juicy info with me... He got the RA5 from me.

Sorry I haven't put this thing down long enough for a photo op! So far this is my only AC! Here she is...sexy as she wanna be:
