When jimmy makes my basses I have him put a different value Cap on my Passive tone control.. I dont like the .05 it goes to bassy...

Does anyone else here notice/feel the the tone roll of doesn't seem to have as much "travel" or effect vs. the standard Fender tone pot? 1/4 roll off on my P bass seem like a 2/3-3/4 turn on my LM4.

Love that tone! That's one heck of a rig and great playing by Jason.

There is a Nordy clip we did also, but when I click on the link above, I get the LM clip. Not sure what the deal is.. just checked it and the LM clip comes up for me.

Hey guys ... I'm wondering if anyone wants to take over my 4 string build. The body is primavera with 60's spacing, color is trans red and the neck hasn't been cut yet, so you can decide what you want. (The pic has a temporary neck that's from another axe) I gave Jimmy $1000 deposit and would really like to get it back. Either PM me here or contact Jimmy. What is the standard/stock cap and what brand and value cap do you have him install for you?

I use a .02 cap in mine... I prefer its sound when rolled back... Not sure what the standard is,, I have seen other builders use .05 to .1 uf.. too much roll off for me..
