This is an awesome instrument folks - a wicked player and looker! I sure wish I'd had the $3.5K handy when it was for sale locally. :rollno:

Good luck with the sale, should go fast.

I'm using flats on my KBP4 that is alder/rosewood/nitro/3tone sunburst. Awesome! Just try them, if you don't like it you can always take them off again.
I'm looking for opinions on any of these "super cabs" -- Audio Kinesis 12, fEARful 12/6/1, LoPhat 3way 12, Barefaced BigBaby or Compact, BFM Jack 12. Of the sound samples I have been able to find online, the Audio Kinesis is like the greatest I have ever heard. Thank you KJung for the gear demos you make!

At work today, playing The Peddlers Jamboree, at The Trailside Cafe, on the KATY Trail, Rocheport MO.
Two day bike ride, saw a lot of the same crowd both days as it was a round-trip ride.

Been a while since the LG and I danced the dance; she's still a great partner.

I keep flats on one of my P-basses, and one of my G&L L1000's, ''just because."

Everything else wears fresh rounds, and the LG5 sounds great with them, to me...but, if flats are your thing, totally go for it! You can always take them off. Experiment; it's fun!

i just put a set of chromes on few days ago, they sound nice and smooth (not to sure how to elaborate) in the mix but still have some bite when i dig in. im really liking them so far.
i have to say i think the pre amp helps heaps giving a bit more oomph

i just talked to him tonight... it's because Caesar is really sick... they are trying really hard to keep him going and healthy. But... he also told me he has been workin really hard busting out stuff... so dont think hes taking time off... Heading there tomorrow to film some more...:hyper:
