Very Nice...!!! Congrats!
For the past 8 or so years the P bass has just been doing it for me... And I came from dual pickup J's , Fodera, Pedulla, Ken Smith land.. Never thought that i would love the P ass much as i do... But it does the job in spades..... and the 80s are over for a long time... so its back to meat and potatoes.

My KBP5 6571 has arrived! Snapped some quick shots with my phone before i head out to work. Initial reaction is awesome, plugged her in, such a great organic classic p-bass sound. No frills, just awesome tone.

That's a hot Hippy KBP! I love the black guard! Hey diglo, is yours coming with a black guard too?

Hopefully I'll have my LG5 soon... I'm almost at 2 years wait. I can't wait to sand the neck when it's ready... Even Jimmy keeps saying he's gotta finish the neck cause that beautiful black body is just sitting there ready to be assembled.

BUT, it'll be under strict evaluation (for practical purposes) because my LM5 is just a killer... Sometimes it takes playing/owning other basses to let you realize how great you already have it. I never thought I was an Ash/Maple guy or even a Stainless Steel strings guy but this bass has changed me. So if I decide the LG won't be used enough, a KBP might take its place.

I've probably said all this before but hey, we're allowed to rave in this club, right?

@YCBass...I had requested tort, but I like the way the black one look now!!!!
