Nice bass

Im not sure about Jimmy having a separate Pickup for the Resurrection basses all I know is that on my CAR Res I talked to Jimmy before getting it and he told me the pickups where wound with a special wire and it is very expensive like 1000 dollars a pound.I would think you would need to take to him to see if this is something he does but only on Resurrection basses?My Res is a exact copy of Larry Grahams 66 Jazz which is written on the neck cavity on the body,it also says built for Bass Player Live 2011,Resurrection 4 Capped board,Celluid Blocks by Jimmy Coppolo ,nitro cellulose laquer changed to Acrylic Urethane All of this is written by hand by Jimmy on the body

Please just let me know when you're ready to sell that red beauty! When I saw it on the website, I begged Chris to sell it to me for days!! After about two weeks I finally believed him that it was already sold

We have a white LG5 heading over to the UK soon - really looking forward to seeing it

Also, Jimmy was kind enough to send me a set of his home grown pickups to put into AC #2 that had been fitted with Seymour Duncans.

It also had an SD pre-amp fitted but I'm either going to go back to passive or fit an original Celinder pre in it.

The Celinder/Greengrove pre is my second favourite after Jimmy's original design so it might be nice to see how it works

Can't wait to get it finished. I like the fact that it's such an early version of Jimmy's work and really want to get out and gig it - wont even have to explain the headstock design to people as it doesn't have the larger shape, lol.

Anybody have seen and hear AC with rosewood-rosewood neck (instead of maple-rosewood combo).
Jimmy told me that it went to Canada.
Interested to see and learn the experience.

I think I threw this out there once, but in case I did not - I am looking for a KPB4 with an A or maybe B neck in nitro, and would be willing to swap my mint/as new LM4 (trans white/tort/maple neck). It kills but I also have a RA4, so it is a little redundant. PM me if interested.

I can tell you the AC club regulars have moved past this already. If that is your only interest I'd suggest you cross AC off your list and move on.

Yes. There were a few ash with trans white bodies and rw I think was called an LS I have photos somewhere. I'll try to post when I get home

I've decided I need to let my incredible LG5 go. This LG5 represents Jimmy's very best work IMHO, and I would personally consider it pretty much impossible to replace at this point, but it needs to go to a home where it'll get out more than I'm able to support.
