Interesting that you guys are all doing this with your B's. I wonder if a half round B would give a closer sound to a flat and better mesh with the other strings?

Haha sure George. Jimmy says John from Bass San Diego went in today and wanted to snatch it. He also said that the more he looks at the finished product it looks like a late 50s to early 60s sunburst.
I can't wait for it to get here.

It's a beast in every way. The neck is so solid, and fast. Everything about this bass blows other brands away. This LG5 is a keeper for sure! Jimmy is the man!

And +1 on the neck. Even in our crazy climate here down under 'Down Under' I've never actually had to adjust my truss rod...that I can remember at least .
It's THE bass in my collection that I KNOW will WORK. ...WELL. ...ANYWHERE. ..ANYTIME.
My Stingray 5 will work well almost always too. But that has its own vibe of course. .. the A-C is great sounding with any strings. .but I've got Fender Flats with a SIT round wound B string on at present (at least as far as I can remember ).

Last night at about 10:00 PM, my wife asked if I was ready to go to sleep. I told her I had about an hour left of work on the computer. I lied... I was in the other room with the LG5 hahaaa... The computer just happened to be there.
